An excellent fortified wine produced in limited quantities, it needs a few years to take shape and reach the height of its elegance. It has a nose of citrus fruits and toasted elements. On the palate, intense creaminess takes over. It has an excellent potential to age.

Château Doisy-Védrines 2ème Grand Cru Classé serve at a temperature of 6°C. It will pair perfectly with the following dishes: Poisson à la crème, Foie gras poché au Madère, Fraise à la crème.

    Information about domain Château Doisy-Védrines

    Château Doisy-Védrines was created after the division of Domaine de Doisy in 1846, just before the classification of 1855. Classified second growth it has a magnificent terroir on the limestone plateau of Barsac (it can also claim the appellation Sauternes in which Barsac is included). Besides the two Doisy, its other neighbors are called Climens and Coutet. The property has been managed since 2001 by Olivier Castéja who does a remarkable job.
