Champagne | 2001 vintage
A very disappointing vintage. Most of the wines are very poor and similar to the disastrous 1984 wines. A very rainy September prevented the grapes from reaching optimum ripeness. The majority of the wines are harsh and tasteless. A lot of the houses did not produce a cuvée de prestige. An nondescript vintage.
