Alsace | 1987 vintage
1987 had a surprisingly bad reputation in general. The year was actually fairly good, and even excellent for certain wine-producers, especially Gewurztraminer and Riesling. Late-autumn rain ended any hope of a Vendange Tardive (Late Harvesting) or Sélection de Grains Nobles (Noble Berries Selection).
