Santenay "Clos de Malte" Jadot 2002

The wine

White Monthélie wines are rare. Their golden colour with hints of green in youth recall neighbouring Meursault. They offer up notes of fresh almond on the nose, and are sweet and supple on the palate, lifted by the acidity needed to make a great wine.
