Intensity
A delicious cuvée from the Spanish Toro region, this wine has strong, distinctive aromas, with plenty of body in the mouth, well-integrated tannins and a fresh, pleasantly loose texture.
More infoThis blend of Tinta de Toro and Grenache was produced with environmentally-friendly farming techniques; no chemical products were used. The grapes fermented with indigenous yeasts and macerate for two to three weeks, allowing for the perfect extraction of flavours, aromas and tannins.
About the Producer Mauro
Bodegas Mauro was founded in 1978 with a philosophy of producing wines for cellaring in limited quantities. The vines are a powerful reflection of the Castilla y Leon terroir, but retain a fine richness. Located fewer than 20 kilometres from Valladolid, near Tudela de Duero, and virtually surrounded by the eponymous river, these 70 hectares of Tempranillo and Syrah are cultivated without the use of pesticides. The wine owes its character to the very continental climate of the region, with its cold winters and hot summers, and significant temperature fluctuations between day and night.
