The wine

An Octomore single cask distilled in 2008 and bottled at cask strength in 2015 by Rest & Be Thankful, aged for seven years in a French oak cask. Rest & Be Thankful is a bottler founded in 2012 by Eamonn Jones and Aidan Smith. It notably made a name for itself with its outstanding bottlings of Port Charlotte and Octomore. Its name comes from a 1753 inscription engraved in a stone left by soldiers at the summit of Glen Croe, which is particularly arduous to climb. A limited edition of 307 bottles.
