The wine

Above all else, this domain has sought to translate the freshness and precision of the grape variety that this Pernand-Vergelasses premier cru comes from. It was produced using organic growth and direct pressing, as well as fermentation with indigenous yeasts and a short élevage. Lively and vibrant, this wine will pair nicely with salty dishes.

About the Producer Pavelot

The Pavelot family has been present in Pernand-Vergelesses since at least the 17th century and their domaine has grown over time and generations. Today, Luc and Lise Pavelot have taken over from their father Régis. Their 9-hectare vineyard is certified organic and shared between Pernand-Vergelesses and Aloxe-Corton. This is a really interesting area, with particularly charming wine, that also maintains reasonable prices.
