Built in 1860, Château Bolaire is owned by Vincent Mulliez (also owner of Châteaux de Gironville and Belle-vue) and is situated in Macau, in the lieu-dit of Le Bout de l’Île. From the same team behind Belle-Vue, a benchmark for the appellation, this Bordeaux Superieur is produced with the same meticulous attention. The vineyard extends over seven hectares and stands out for its very high proportion of Petit Verdot (50%), conferring menthol and spiced notes in the wine; the average age of vines here is 50 years. One of the stars of the appellation, with an exceptional price/enjoyment ratio!

    Information about domain Château Bolaire
