Une robe prune-pourpre foncé précédant un doux fruit confituré (de cassis et de cerise) nuancé de chêne neuf et grillé annonce le Beau-Séjour Bécot 1996. Ce vin moyennement corsé, presque extraordinaire de richesse, se développe joliment et par paliers en milieu de bouche, et déploie une finale persistante, aux tannins souples.(...)
