  • The domaine owns a hectare of vines more than 45 years old in the Les Vaumuriens climat. The vineyard is planted on the left slopes of Pommard and has a North/North-East exposure with brown calcareous soil on Jurassic marl and hard limestone.

Founded in 1975 by Chantal Lescure and Xavier Machard de Gramont, Domaine Chantal Lescure is a family domaine that now belongs to their two sons: Aymeric and Thibault Machard de Gramont. An owner harvesting 18 hectares of AOC vineyards, the Domaine Chantal Lescure extends from Chambolle-Musigny in Côte de Nuits to Meursault in Côte de Beaune. In 1996, when Chantal Lescure died, Aymeric Machard de Gramont took over the management of the domaine. The entire organisation of the domaine, and in particular how to work the vines was then re-considered. François Chavériat was hired as a cellar master and has been moving the domaine towards agrobiology since 1997. Today, the domaine is certified organic
