  • Corton Charlemagne from Domaine Clair has an elegant nose with aromas of citrus fruit (lemon) and apple, and floral and mineral notes. It is lively and powerful on the palate with a tangy and slightly bitter long finish.

Bruno Clair is the grandson of Joseph Clair (of the famous Domaine Clair Daü). He founded his domaine in 1979 in Marsannay and subsequently inherited some of his ancestor’s plots. The vineyard is made up of a myriad of high-quality plots, notably in Gevrey-Chambertin and Morey-Saint-Denis where the wines are among the most popular in the appellation, both white and red. In addition, Bruno Clair acquired new plots in the communes of Pernand-Vergelesses, Aloxe-Corton and Fixin. The quality of the élevage and the precision of the vinification show the best of these terroirs. One of the best domaines in Burgundy.
