Domaine de la Vougeraie is located in Vougeot, and was created in 1999 by the Boisset family using the various vines belonging to the family. Today, the vineyards cover 34 hectares spread over 67 parcels and 27 appellations; two-thirds of their area is in the Côte de Nuits, the remainder in the Côte de Beaune. Its viticultural assets are of a particularly high quality, including parcels of Charmes-Chambertin Les Mazoyères, Musigny, Clos de Vougeot, Corton-Charlemagne, Les Damods Bâtard-Montrachet... and the vineyards are certified for organic farming. This domain has elevated itself to the very highest level, and produces wines combining concentration and finesse.
This Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet is characterised by its lemony aromas, subtle woodiness, and – most importantly – its great freshness and superb minerality.
