  • Bâtard Montrachet from Bruno Colin is worthy of its standing, offering plenty of depth and complexity. It is very rich on the palate but always perfectly balanced by a perfect acidic quality. This wine goes well with fish, shellfish and poultry.

After taking his first steps in the family Domaine Michel Colin-Deleger, Bruno Colin took over the reins of his own farm in 2003 and signed his first cuvée a year later in 2004. His vines cover 8 hectares spread over five appellations of the Côte de Beaune: Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin, Santenay and Maranges. Bruno Colin's values are seen in the image of his Chardonnays: clean and pure. The meticulous care he brings to his vineyard and cellar allows him to present white wines that perfectly reflect the terroir from which they come: mineral, polished and taut. An export praised by the Revue du Vin de France: "a very beautiful collection of Chardonnay terroirs which are perfectly worked and vinified, with good élevage and remarkable tension. The reds are progressing. A very reliable location".
