Poignée de raisins, est un 100% grenache qui donne cette délicieuse impression de boire le jus-même du fruit. Un véritable vin de copain qui allie avec justesse souplesse, gourmandise, fruité et fraîcheur. More info

As its name suggests, Poignée de raisins ("handful of grapes") is a cuvée that feels like drinking the juice of the fruit itself. The domain produces a truly generous, fruity red Côtes du Rhône from young Grenache vines (aged between 4 and 30 years old), biodynamically cultivated on the hillsides and the Gramenon plateau, 350m above sea level. Harvested manually, its grape clusters are sorted before the 15-day maceration in a coarse cement tank. They are fermented with native yeasts. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is matured for 6 months in vats.

Côtes du Rhône Poignée de raisins Gramenon (Domaine) serve at a temperature of 14°C. It will pair perfectly with the following dishes: Couscous d agneau, Filet de boeuf en croûte de sel, Lasagnes au confit de canard.

    Information about domain Gramenon

Domaine Gramenon was created in 1979 on the slopes of Montbrision-su-Lez in the southern Rhône. Its founders Phillipe Laurent and Michèle Aubéry started with 12 hectares but have gradually expanded to 26 hectares; They cultivate Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Viognier and Clairette. They benefit from a limestone rich terroir and an altitude that confers great freshness to the wines. Following Philippe's death in 1999, Michèle took over the whole business with the help of his son Maxime François Laurent. Convinced that good grapes make good wine, the father son duo practice biodynamic viticulture. Yields are controlled and the soil is ploughed. The wines are sought after for their freshness and brightness. Certain cuvées can be drunk young while others need a few years in the cellar.
