A Champagne that promises a fine tasting moment with its delicate bubbles and minerality. More info

This champagne is made by a house well-established in the region since the 19th century which is dedicated to crafted single-parcel wines with natural vinifications. This cuvée is a single-varietal Pinot noir from 50-year-old vines that enjoy deep soil rich in clay and chalk. Grown at altitude, the grapes are harvested by hand before heading to the winery where the must ferments slowly in casks and small vats. The wine is matured on lees that confer a particular texture and aroma. It is then left to rest on slats for 54 months. We find that this is a gastronomic champagne, complex and elegant. Its aromatic bouquet exudes notes of red fruit, almond, pastry, and gentle spices. It has an unctuous texture complemented by delicate bubbles and a striking minerality. We recommend savouring it with noble dishes, or perhaps on its own.

Ambonnay Bérêche et Fils serve at a temperature of 10°C. It will pair perfectly with the following dishes: Ceviche de saumon, Toasts à la rillette d'oie, Mousseline de chou-fleur à la badiane.

Information about domain Bérêche et Fils

Bérêche et Fils has been a well-established maison since the 19th century. The Bérêche brothers, Raphaël (winemaker) and Vincent (head of the vineyard) strive to produce champagne with personality, from top plot selections and the most natural winemaking possible. The family domain has existed since the 18th century, but it is these two brothers who have raised it to the top of the Champagne vineyards. In addition to the Bérêche et fils family domain, the two brothers have created a trading structure called Raphaël and Vincent Bérêche. This division is very rare in Champagne where the maisons usually mix the lands and their own purchases. The grapes are selected with the greatest attention: the soils are ploughed, substances are banned and barrel aging is proudly supported. The range is around the Côte, Montagne and Vallée in the name of the three great sub-regions of Champagne followed by the name of the terroir. The two brothers have tasted hundreds of samples to achieve 6 cuvées of excellence. A domain which is a point of reference and a safe bet.
