  • The grapes are grown in Troissy and Dormans, mostly from the parcel ‘Le Clos des Poiloux’. Vinification is carried out in stainless-steel vats and this nonn-vintage cuvée is produced from 60% of the year’s production and 40% reserve wine. It ages for 4 years in the house’s cellars. Its nose is complex, with aromas of yellow fruits (peach), butter and dried fruits.

Xavier Leconte was founded in 1870. Alexis Leconte has managed the domain since 2003, representing the sixth generation of the family. The vineyard is made up of forty or so small parcels in the villages of Troissy, Dormans, Mareuil-le-Port, Vandières and Aÿ. The vineyard has been certified of high environmental value since 2014. The winemaker finds inspiration in biodynamic viticulture, for instance following the lunar calendar. The champagnes are vinified in oak barrels (25%) and stainless-steel vats (75%).
