A superb, biodynamic, Languedoc vin de pays. Fruit forward, velvety and delicate. More info

A judicious blend of Syrah and Merlot, the cuvee Le Petit Merle aux Alouettes is a IGP Pays d’Oc which was cultivated biodynamically on poor and stony, clay-limestone soils. Yields are controlled, harvests are manuals, and the grapes are sorted. The vinifications are traditional and alternate punching down and pumping over. Maceration lasts 5 weeks and the wine is raised for 10 months in stainless steel vats without fining. We recommend opening this bottle at least two hours before serving with veal braised with olives for example, which will go very well with its dense aromas of black fruits, its velvety substance and freshness.

IGP Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert (anc. IGP Pays d'Oc) Alain Chabanon (Domaine) Le Petit Merle aux Alouettes Alain Chabanon serve at a temperature of 16°C. It will pair perfectly with the following dishes: Brochettes d agneau, Cailles rôties, Bavette grillée.
