A Burgundy-style Pinot Noir from a rising star in Alsace. More info

Domaine Albert Boxler is an institution of Alsace wine making. Their land spans 19 hectares and the vines have an average age of 35 years. The harvests are carried out by hand for this 100% Pinot Noir cuvée. It is vinified in the Burgundy style and is kept for a year after bottling before being put to the market. In the glass, it has a deep, ruby colour. Its nose gives off notes of red fruit (particularly redcurrant) and flowers. It is expressive on the palate with a fruity and flavourful character. We also get hints of the Pinot Noir's cold terroir. Serve this cuvée at 16°C. We recommend pairing it with beef and onion or roasted lamb.

Pinot Noir Albert Boxler serve at a temperature of 16°C. It will pair perfectly with the following dishes: Boeuf à l'oignon, Carré d'agneau, Coeur de veau.

    Information about domain Albert Boxler

An emblematic domain of the Alsace region, Albert Boxler comprises 14 hectares of which half are classed Grand Cru. Founded towards the end of the 1940s, the domain favours clean and careful growing. In any case, the vines planted on steep terrain cannot be reached by machines. The treatments used are organic and the yields are masterful. In the cellar, indigenous yeasts carry out their work, and the wines are matured in old barrels in order to avoid a flavour that is marked by wood, and stirring is banned. The current owner, Jean Boxler, seeks before all else to highlight the particularities of the grape varieties and the terroirs through fine, taut and crystalline wines.
