The ambition of terroir pushed to its peak. More info

Stéphane Riffault, the son of Claude Riffault, decided to create this single parcel cuvée in 2018 and named it Monoparcelle 538. The vine used to create this aromatic treasure is 47 years old and takes up 0.44 hectares of land. The soil in question is made up of kimmeridgian marl and is exposed to the south at an altitude of 260 metres. After picking the grapes by hand and sorting them meticulously, they are pressed in a pneumatic press before a static clarification. Maturation takes around 15 months and takes place in wooden containers with instances of stirring if necessary. The wine gives off mineral and complex aromas alongside citrus and vegetal notes.

Sancerre Monoparcelle 538 Claude Riffault serve at a temperature of 11°C. It will pair perfectly with the following dishes: Petites sardines grillées, Poulet de Bresse, Poire cuite à la fleur d'oranger.
