Matured in French oak barrique barrels (70% new wood) for 12-15 months, it presents an extremely impressive freshness and balance on the palate. Ideally, open the bottle a good hour before drinking to obtain the best from this great wine.

IGT Toscane Duemani Suisassi serve at a temperature of 16°C. It will pair perfectly with the following dishes: Magrets de canard aux figues, Fricassée de lapin, Saucisson de taureau.

What the experts say...

"Deep dark crimson. Rich dark fruit still a little squeezed in a corset of oak. Top notes of black olive. The palate shows ripe yet restrained and balanced fruit with lovely acidity and firm but not overpowering tannins. Modernist approach yet original.", Walter Speller for Jancis Robinson

Information about domain Duemani

Azienda Duemani owes its existence to the experience of Luca Attoma – one of the most famous oenologists in Italy, and consultant oenologist to Tua Rita, the first domaine to receive a 100/100 score from Robert Parker – and to his wife Elena Celli. They decided to produce an environmentally friendly, biodynamically cultivated wine. They are now Demeter certified and produce wines from Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah grape varieties. The soil, which is a blend of clay and stones, and therefore not very fertile, allows the wine to develop great purity and complexity, enhanced by its outstanding geographical location in a natural west-facing amphitheatre 200 metres above sea level.
