  • This Tawny port is produced from a blend of old ports raised in barrels. It is then matured in oak barrels with a capacity of 630 litres for 10 years. It has distinctively intense aromas of hazelnut, spices and orange blossom, and its rich and concentrated palate result in sublime length.

Taylor is one of the oldest and most iconic port brands. Taylor was founded in 1692, and established itself in Porto and the Douro Valley and became a reference for port lovers worldwide. It produces wines renowned for their longevity and potency, but also their aromatic subtlety.

Tasting notes - Extract
Complex mix of spice with a slight mushroom note. That savoury quality on the palate too. Restrained and subtle but a little lacking in energy. Julia Harding MW from Jancis Robinson's team
