Produced from 40-year-old vines, this Chablis Premier Cru is matured for 14 o 16 months in stainless-steel vats. It delivers great aromatic richness thanks to its notes of citrus fruits and white flowers. Amply, juicy, aromatic and very persistent, with a chalky, flinty finish.
Domaine Billaud-Simon was founded in 1815 and covers 20 hectares of the most beautiful terroirs of Chablis, with four grand crus (Les Clos, Les Preuses, Vaudésir and Les Blanchots) and four premier crus (Montée de Tonnerre, Mont-de-Milieu, Fourchaume and Vaillons). In 2014, the domaine was bought by the Faiveley family, who confirmed their determination to maintain the Bernard Billaud style with precise wines, which stand out for their fine minerality.
