Produced in a highly prestigious terroir, this vin jaune is the result of a family-run cultivation philosophy combining environmentally friendly viticulture with natural vinification techniques. More info
This vin jaune originates in a terroir of blue marl, and is matured for a little over six years in casks. It is very seductive on tasting thanks to its great ageing potential, aromatic bouquet (walnut, spices, vanilla), and supple, harmonious texture.
In the heart of L'Etoile, the most prestigious appellation of Jura, domaine Montbourgeau belongs to the Gros family which has produced wine since the 1920s. Today, heading the property, Nicole Dériaux has modernised the cellar and masterly manages the property's nine hectares thanks to manual farming and natural vinification.
