    The wine

This Morgon Corcelette cuvée is made from grapes grown on old vines. At Domaine Daniel Bouland, work in the vines and the winery is carried out with utmost respect for the environment. The vines are worked totally by hand, with the gobelet-pruned plants leaving no space for a tractor to pass. Every year, these grapes develop a concentrated profile.
The grapes are vinified in whole harvests with maceration taking 10 to 12 days depending on the cuvée. Maturation takes place in steel vats and foudres for 6 to 9 months, and Daniel uses minimal sulphur in his wines. The cuvée is not filtered so it can retain all its beautiful aromas.
This is a veritable terroir cuvée, with a ruby red colour and an aromatic nose of flowers and gentle spices. Its palate is precise, revealing elegance and finesse. The Corcelette terroir really comes through in the glass!
