    The wine

The legendary Maison Leroy in Auxey-Duresses was created by François Leroy in 1868. At the beginning of the following century, Henri Leroy contributed a great deal to the fame of the wines, then his daughter, Lalou Bize-Leroy took over in 1971. In addition to the trading house, this Burgundy icon became well-known when buying Domaine Charles Noëllat to create his own domain there. The Leroy family is also the co-owner of the Romanée-Conti domain with the Villaine family. The wines of Maison Leroy remain of an exemplary quality. Without doubt these are the greatest wines of Burgundy trading. The grapes are very meticulously selected, at the very minimum, they must come from sustainable agriculture. Vinification and élevage are done as carefully as at the domain to make exceptional wines.
