Allow time to work its magic and this biodynamic Patrimonio will reveal its robust character and highly aromatic notes in style. More info
This single-variety Nielluccio (native variety) has been subject to a particularly careful vinification process designed to preserve its fruity character. Vinified from stemmed grapes, it has been matured in casks for a period of almost two years. Fleshy and energetic, its intense bouquet of black berries, spices and cocoa dictates time in the carafe before serving. Superb with regional delicacies, such as roast black pork with an aubergine gratin à la brousse.
Located in the Poggio d'Oletta village, in the heart of the Patrimonio appellation, Muriel Giudicuelli is a key ambassador for biodynamic winemaking in northern Corsica? This energetic woman produces racy wines, much the reflection of their terroir. Vinifications are gentle (slow, direct pressings for the rosés), the élevage for the domain's reds are long (between 18 and 22 months depending on the year). The vinifications are practically “natural”.
