Domain: Domaine Ott The history of the domain is one which resembles many more recent viticultural holdings. In 1896, a young agronomist from Alsace travelled around France to visit the various winemaking regions. He ended up staying in Provence, where he decided to cultivate the land which had been ravaged by phylloxera a few years earlier. He carried out extensive restoration work on the property before passing it down to his ancestors. The vineyard now belongs to the Louis Roederer group and is managed by two cousins: Christian and Jean-François Ott. They also run Château de Selle, the Clos Mireille and the Château Romassan.
