Domain: Rutini Collection

The Rutini domaine – or La Bodega La Rural, to give it its full name – is one of the oldest in Mendoza, located in a valley at the foot of the Andes range on a famous terroir. The Rutini family has been making wine since the early 19th century, beginning with Francisco Rutini in the Le Marche region of Italy. His son, Felipe Rutini, immigrated to Argentina, where he honoured the family tradition and expertise by establishing his own domaine in Maipú in 1885. He subsequently extended his domaine to Los Corralitos and Medrano. When he died in 1919, he left his descendants a domaine with a sound reputation both in Argentina and internationally. The domaine has continued to develop without forsaking its traditions and heritage.
