Domain: Mommessin The Mommessin house was founded in the south of Burgundy, in Mâcon where Cluny monks had planted vines. In 1865, Jean-Marie Mommessin settled in Grange-Saint-Pierre, and the key of the Abbey of Cluny became the house’s symbol. It has since been moved to Quincié-en-Beaujolais. The house strives for excellence and top-quality wines, selecting only the best grapes and finest parcels, working closely with the winemakers. The Beaujolais produced by Mommessin have a Burgundian influence, with the partial destemming and oak-élevage. Delicious!
