Domain: The Glenfiddich & Balvenie Distilleries

William Grant began producing blends in 1898, a dozen years after Glenfiddich was built. After a difficult start, Grant's become an international hit at the end of the Second World War. Known best under the name Grant's Standfast, and then Grant's Family Reserve, the blend has had several aliases, including Best Procurable and Hare and Hounds. Equally, a large number of versions have been released over time, such as Grant's 12 Year Old and Grant's 18 Year Old, which no longer exist today. Grant's is popular for its fruity, cereal style that closely resembles whiskies from Speyside. Malts used in the blend include Glenfiddich, Balvenie and Girvan.
