Domain: Destileria Leyros

Founded in 2009 by Bertha González Nieves—the first female “maestra tequilera”—and Robert Pittman, Casa Dragones is named after the San Miguel de Allende dragoons, an elite cavalry regiment led by Ignacio Allende, who played a pivotal role at the start of the Mexican War of Independence. The tequilas are produced in small batches from blue agave grown in Jalisco. These can then be bottled white or aged in American or French oak casks.
