The Distillerie du Périgord’‘s history began with the Lapouge distillery, founded in 1860 by Emile Lapouge. It has been renowned for the quality of its fruit brandy since the 19th century, notably receiving a gold medal at the Paris Exposition Universelle in 1900 and at the Brussels International Exposition in 1899. In the 1980s, the company began specializing in the production of fruit liqueurs for the retail and food industries. It offers a wide range of liqueurs, brandies and fruit liqueurs.
