Domain: Bertrand Bergé

Domaine Bertrand Bergé is located between the Roussillon and Languedoc regions, in the heart of the charming town of Paziols. The family domain, dating back to the 19th century, has witnessed a succession of generations of winemakers. Nowadays, Jérôme Bertrand runs the vineyard masterfully, aiming to create exceptional vintages that reflect the very best of his terroir. The winemaker is convinced that his vines must develop naturally to capture the essence of the terroir. He is therefore determined to work with the utmost respect for the soil and biodiversity. He has been cultivating his 40 hectares of vines in accordance with the organic farming principles since 2011. The grape varieties typical of the region, such as Mourvèdre, Carignan, Syrah and Grenache, flourish in the region’s wonderful landscapes. In the winery, vinification involves minimal intervention and sulphur is added in minute quantities to ensure that each wine perfectly reflects the terroir.
