About the domain
Domaine du Tracot in Lantignié in the Beaujolais was created in 1902. The Dubost family became owners in 1960, when Henri Dubost took over the management of the domain, replanting the vineyard. His son, Jean-Paul, now helps his own children in continuing to develop the domain, following organic principles in the vineyard. The domain now spans 21 hectares on the terroirs of Moulin-à-Vent, Fleurie, Brouilly, Morgon and Régnié. However, Jean-Paul hasn’t neglected the Beaujolais-Nouveau appellation, which he produces exactly like his other cuvées.
About the cuvée
This cuvée is made from Gamay vines that grow on granitic soils in the Morgon AOC. The nost boasts aromas of ripe red fruits and flowers such as peony and iris. Concentrated and structured, it reveals a round, powerful mouth with supple tannins that pair perfectly with characterful dishes. Cellar this Morgon for several years to give it time to reach its full potential.

These estates may have adopted biodynamic principles (non-certified) or simply no longer use chemical products. This designation applies to recent vintages.
Natural : Wines which are produced without any added sulfur (or almost any) and with no other inputs. However, given that there is no official body to issue the natural wine label, it is based on winemakers’ statements. This designation applies to recent vintages.
