The Jobard family has been producing wine in Meursault for many generations. In 1993, Rémi Jobard took over from his father Charles (he had already made his first vintage in 1991). The vineyard has been organic since 2005, certified since 2011 (conversion started in 2008). Rémi Jobard is a very talented winemaker, making delicate, smooth and supple Meursaults, which age with class and whose élevage is always neatly carried out. This area is one of the best of the appellation.
About the cuvée
Meursault Les Narvaux is a really delightful cuvée with impressive depth which showcases all the winemaker's skill and precision. The nose reveals aromas of fresh fruit (citrus fruit in particular). On the palate it is mouth-filling, its fruity aromas combine here with mineral notes, especially in the finish which proves to be particularly long-lasting.
