This château is named after an old commune that has not existed since the French Revolution. It was incorporated into the communes of Cussac Fort-Médoc and Saint Laurent-et-Benon.

Château de Sainte Gemme is a supple, fruity red wine, with a pleasant roundness and a fine structure. It develops aromas of blackcurrants and raspberries, and has elegant tannins.
