Situated in the heart of the Côte de Beaune and spread over three villages (Savigny-Lès-Beaune, Pernand-Vergelesses et Aloxe-Corton), this domain was bought in 1834 by Countess Chandon de Briailles. It has been belonged to the same family ever since. A pioneer of bioydynamics in the region, the domain is also known for its élevages using very little new oak. The style of these wines has greatly evolved with time. They now express themselves more readily in youth, without losing any of their excellent aging ability. The 2016s were wonderfully delicate, with a particularly superb Aloxe-Vazolières and the Clos-du-Roi in pride of place.
