Lot presentation

Gevrey-Chambertin Seuvrées Michel Magnien Vieilles Vignes 2019

The wine

South of the village of Gevrey, near to the Grands Crus plots, this cuvée benefits from a gentle slope of gravelly soil that is nicely exposed to the sun. The resulting wine is supple and sumptuous, with beautifully fruity and crisp aromas. A beef tournedos would make the perfect accompanying dish.

About the Producer Michel Magnien

Frédéric Magnien is in charge at once of the family domain in Morey-Saint-Denis – where he represents the 4th generation of wine makers – and his work as a négociant. Since 2010, the domain has been run biodynamically (with Demeter certification) and it has been making notable progress in recent years.
