The distillery La Barge 166 par Maison Ferrand

Maison Ferrand has been a family-owned producer of fine spirits since 1989. Its internationally acclaimed brands today include Ferrand cognac, Citadelle French gin and Plantation rum. The house has always been meticulous in the attention it pays to ageing, which is today an integral part of its decades-old expertise. Barge 166, the first ever floating cellar designed and created by Maison Ferrand, is the only location in the world where this type of ageing can be carried out, on the banks of the Seine in Issy-les-Moulineaux, just a stone’s throw from Paris. In this new adventure, Maison Ferrand is offering the chance for bidders to become the owners of casks of Ferrand cognac and Plantation rum which will be aged on the barge for several months. It is a unique invitation to join Barge 166’s crew of Private Cask Owners for the selection, finishing and bottling of bespoke 30-litre casks of spirits.
