Weingut: Hazelburn (Springbank)

Schottland, Campbeltown – Mull of Kintyre. Ursprüngliche Destillerie geschlossen. Eigentümer: J&A Mitchell & Co Ltd 1997 destillierte die Familie Mitchell in Springbank einen Single Malt, der einst in der Nähe hergestellt wurde, in Hazelburn. Ursprünglich befand sich Hazelburn nur wenige Meter von der Destillerie Longrow/Springbank entfernt und war 1920 im Besitz von Mackie & Co Distillers Ltd, dem Unternehmen, das auch Lagavulin und Craigellachie besaß. Der Standort wurde 1925 endgültig geschlossen. Hazelburn ist ein dreifach destillierter, ungetorfter Malt, von dem seit Mitte der 2000er Jahre mehrere limitierte Editionen auf den Markt kamen.
