La «cuvée»

Located in the Catalonia region of Spain, Priorat is renowned for producing some of the country’s most prestigious and sought-after wines. Priorat wines are often crafted from indigenous grape varieties, primarily Grenache (Garnacha) and Carignan (Cariñena), as well as international varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. The region’s characteristic schistous soil, known as llicorella, imparts a distinct minerality and aromatic complexity to the wines.
Priorat wines are known for their concentration, richness, and depth. They typically offer intense aromas of ripe fruits, spices, and mineral notes, with a powerful tannic structure that provides excellent ageing potential. Due to their robust character and complexity, Priorat wines are often compared to the finest wines of Bordeaux and the Rhône Valley.
Priorat are jewels of Spanish viticulture, offering a unique combination of power, complexity, and character that captivates wine lovers around the world.
