Vinos a la venta: Marthe Henry

Fresh wines crafted without sulphur from a former journalist with winemaking in her blood. A producer "to keep your eye one" according to the French wine magazine La Revue du vin de France.

Following her initial career in journalism, Marthe Henry, granddaughter of the great Burgundy wine icon Pierre Boillot, embraced the winemaking trade in 2013. Passionate and determined, she settled in Meursault and started her training at the Lycée Viticole (wine college) before embarking on a long and thorough apprenticeship with her friends Pierre-Henri Rougeot and Jean-Yves Devevey. Early on, she built up her own business, a micro-trading operation offering premium wines. It was in 2023 that she took over some family vines for the first time, wishing to cultivate and vinify them in a pure, natural style. In the winery, vinification is low interventionist and the wines are matured in oak casks for a minimum of 18 months. Her first vintages already reflect her refined talent, combined with the wealth of a powerful and unique family heritage.
