Moulin-à-Vent Clos de la Roilette 2023

Clos de la Roilette, ideally situated at the heart of the village of Fleurie, is renowned for its traditionally crafted wines. The Gamay vines, averaging 45 years in age, are carefully cultivated following sustainable viticulture principles. The grapes are hand-picked once they have reached optimum ripeness, to perfectly preserve this high-quality raw material. In the winery, a traditional whole-cluster vinification process is implemented. The cuvée then undergoes a well-mastered ageing process in used oak ‘foudres’ (large wooden tuns) before being bottled.
A deep garnet-red colour with purple tints reveals a delicate nose of vanilla combined with notes of intense red fruit. The full, silky palate is beautifully graced by smooth tannins leading to a long, delicious perfectly balanced finish.
