This wine, vinified and élevaged by Dominique Lafon, asserts itself as a great Volnay, with great depth and real refinement. The wine produces aromas of black cherry and dark chocolate, supported by a slightly mineral character. The mouthfeel is dense and concentrated.
Dominique Lafon, winemaker and owner of the emblematic Domaine des Comtes Lafon in Meursault, also offers a range that bears his name. This trading business of Meursault and Volnay is of a very high standard. The high quality grapes are vinified by Dominique Lafon with the same care as those of the Domaine de Comtes Lafon.
