What makes this wine special?
A fine organic wine from one of the greatest terroirs of Gewurztraminer, with great finesse and which is perfectly balanced.
Más informaciónLes P’tits Gars is a cuvée of blended Grenache and Syrah from clay and chalk-rich soils. Both are harvested by hand, sorted, destemmed and vatted for eight days. The ageing lasts eight months in vats before bottling which is done without fining or filtration. This wine should be enjoyed in its youth, on the fruit. Both on the palette and on the nose there are notes of red fruit, blackcurrant and raspberries. However, its flavours are a little more complex with spicy and peppery notes. Persistence is good. A charming wine to discover with friends!
La bodega Oratoire Saint-Martin
★ Bodega asociadaFrédéric and François Alary have been in charge of Domaine de l’Oratoire Daint-Martin since 1984 and represent the 10th generation of winemakers at the head of this vineyard! The great majority of this domaine is located to the north east of the Cairanne commune at around 200 metres altitude on a steep hill in an area known locally as “the mountain”. The domaine is certified biodynamic, yields are low and grapes are picked at optimum maturity. Elevage takes place in concrete vats, demi-muids or foudres. This producer is regarded as one of the best in Cairanne (along with domaine Richaud) and deserves its reputation as a reference!
