This Patrimonio Grotta di Sole Clos Marfisi is a full-bodied white wine expressing the full character of the Vermentino grape variety. In the glass, the dazzlingly clear pale yellow colour reveals green hues.
A fresh, fruity bouquet of lemon, green apple and pear, with delicate floral touches and mineral aromas rises from the glass. Hints of aromatic herbs such as basil and thyme add complexity to the bouquet. Lively and pleasant on the palate, this wine opens with a fresh attack, followed by flavours of white fruit and citrus. The texture is elegant and slightly creamy, with a nicely integrated acidity supporting the structure. The finish is long and mineral, with a subtle salinity that evokes the Corsican coastal terroir.
