A gem of a wine from the Loire to enjoy at the end of meals, with dessert and, most importantly, plenty of bottle age.

Quarts de Chaume Baumard (Domaine des) 2000
La «cuvée»
This cuvée of Quarts-de-Chaume exudes fine aromas of candied pineapple and a rich and powerful palate, with aromas of citrus fruit and white fruit. A wine with great ageing potential.
Located in Rochefort-sur-Loire, Domaine des Baumard lies at the heart of the Loire valley. In 1634, Florent Baumard's ancestors settled in the region. Working closely with his terroir, Florent emphasised the importance of working closely with the vineyard when making wine. The soil is tilled and grass is grown between the vines.
