Más informaciónThis Pays d'Oc Merlot is organically and biodynamically certified, and is cultivated in a pebbly limestone-clay soil. Harvested by hand, it is traditionally vinified and matured for 36 months, 24 of which are in French oak foudre vats. It has an intense ruby-red appearance; tasting reveals a complex aromatic bouquet with notes of vanilla, spices, licorice and black berries. The well-rounded, full-bodied palate exudes generosity, revealing a highly seductive ageing potential.

★ Bodega asociadaAfter studying enology, Alain Chabanon settled in Montpeyroux at the end of the 1980s. The vineyard is now spread over about 20 hectares of vines which lie on the communes of Jonquières, St André, Lagamas, St Saturnin and Montpeyroux. The domain has been certified organic since 1992 and biodynamic since 2010. Alain Chabanon produces fine, original wines, with extraordinary aging potential. This domain is one of the jewels of the appellation.
