Val de Loire Allier Deux Ages Jean Wambergue 2022

The Deux Ages cuvée is produced from Chardonnay vines planted on a predominantly schist terroir, which contributes vivacity and floral aromas. The Chardonnay vines, cultivated with great care following organic and biodynamic principles, are harvested at peak ripeness. The grapes are delicately vinified according to traditional methods, keeping additives and the use of sulphur to a minimum. The cuvée is carefully matured for several months in oak casks before being bottled.
The bright colour, accentuated by light golden reflections, reveals a bewitching bouquet, with floral and yellow fruit aromas subtly mingling with citrus flavours. The generous, supple palate offers a fresh attack, complemented by fine acidity, leading to a smooth, lingering finish. This 100% Chardonnay will reveal its finest, most delicious aromas in its youth.
