Côtes du Jura L'Hôpital Buronfosse 2019

Peggy and Jean-Pascal Buronfosse are two exacting winemakers making pure and very natural wines. The domain (situated just next door to that of the famous Jean-François Ganevat) is small and entirely organic: their 5 hectares is laid out to Chardonnay and Savignin for the whites (90% of their production) and Pinot Noir, Poulsard and Trousseau for the reds. In the winery they try to interfere as little as possible with nature. The wines from Domaine Buronfosse are subsequently an honest and elegant expression of their terroir with plenty of character. A true rising star of the Jura.

Just next to well-known property of Jean-François Ganevat, Peggy and Jean-Pascal Buronfosse are two exacting winegrowers who produce very pure, natural wines. "L'Hôptal" offers an interesting expression of the property's non-oxidized Savagnin: tremendous character with crystalline notes of citrus fruit.
